Valentin Ruest is the Founder and Co-CEO of Classtime, a California-based educational technology company dedicated to enhancing student outcomes on the CAASPP through strategic thinking in Math and ELA.
Valentin’s journey into educational technology began in 2014 when he collaborated with academic research teams and public K-12 schools to explore the implementation and impact of personalized, real-time feedback in classrooms. With the support of the Jacobs Foundation, Valentin has partnered with esteemed organizations such as WestEd and LXD Research to study the effects of strategic thinking in math on student outcomes, conducting studies that meet ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) Levels 4, 3, and 2.
His work focuses on providing innovative solutions and professional development for educators to effectively integrate strategic thinking methodologies into their teaching practices.
Currently, Valentin collaborates with districts and schools across the United States to implement Classtime’s technology and training programs, including in Kern County, Madera County, Santa Barbara County, and Ventura County, empowering educators to foster critical thinking and improve student outcomes in Math and ELA.
