About me
Tim is an experienced California school principal and education consultant that is known for his positive energy and how he addresses real issues in a “real” way. Although, at one time, Tim felt like he had to hide the effects of having a neurodiverse mind (combined Autism/ADHD) in order to succeed professionally; he now advocates for the benefits of the neurodiverse mind in the workplace, especially education! Tim believes that; now more than ever; educators have the potential of not only changing lives, but saving lives, across generations!
As a school principal of a 100% Title I elementary school in central California, Tim experienced firsthand how partnering with FranklinCovey Education to implement the Leader in Me process led to dramatic improvements in positive student and staff behaviors; student belonging; parent participation; student and staff attendance; and student academic achievement and growth!
Since becoming a FranklinCovey Consultant/Coach, Tim has worked with over 1,000 PreK-12 administrators and educators across the United States. He has keynoted for LAUSD-East, ACSA, CADA, and CALSA events and, throughout the pandemic, Tim created and provided several free custom trainings, along with free resources, to give back to the education community at the county, district, and site levels.
Although Tim has many accomplishments, Tim considers his family as his GREATEST! Tim absolutely adores his wife of 20 years and his 5 children (ages 7 -17 years); and he feels extremely blessed to have been entrusted to be the dad of two neurodiverse and special needs children. Tim enjoys spending time with his beautiful family and openly shares anecdotal learning experiences that come with having a neurodiverse brain (Autism/ADHD) and raising a family.
