Jen Gaviola is the current Superintendent of the Cayucos Elementary School District, a position she has held since 2022. Her educational journey began in the heart of the Central Valley, Madera, where she served as a K-12 special educator, a high school administrator, and Director of Special Education.
Moving to Fresno Unified, the third-largest school district in California, she took on the role of SELPA Director. Prior to her current position, she served as the Deputy Superintendent of Human Resources and Secondary Education for the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District.
A published author in the fields of Response to Intervention, Special Education, and Negotiations, Jen is a respected voice in education. Her philosophy centers on the power of "making a difference and the power of relationships," emphasizing the importance of kindness in achieving success.
